Advice on Trash Panada no kill solution...

First off I know, I know are you some kind of tree hugger bla bla bla... Well no and I have no issues with making a raccoon take a dirt nap.

That being said my wife is a very gentle loving woman who doesn't want to hurt anything and still gives me a pass when it's time to go to the lease with the boys for a week.

It looks like I have raccoons trying to get into my garage and we are going to try to live trap them. Until my wife gets really annoyed with them and we will try to dead trap them or I get to set out one night with my bow and hog light which would me my personal favorite...

There isn't any food in the garage I have double checked...

Any thoughts on a live trap or something that will deter them? I know there is at least one baby racccoon

Coons are simple to catch in a live trap. Bait with most anything. I use canned cat food.

Tack strips, sharks teeth, slinky’s or coon hoods if they don’t work you gotta shoot em.

My experience is that sardines and cat food is very effective, but you'll also catch cats as well. My go-to bait for raccoons is a Snickers candy bar with a bite (or two) taken out of it.

            Good luck,

            Dave

Live trap baited with scraps. They're not picky.
