Hopeing to connect on a nice hog to get taxidermied this winter/spring. How does one go about caping out a hog, seems like it would be a real pain in the rump?!....any tips/tricks?
Cut entirely around the hogs body, just behind the front shoulders and around each front knee.
Skin out as you normally would, pulling the hid off like a sock.
Put the entire head and cape into a trash bag (or 2) and freeze ASAP.
Take the whole thing to the taxi.
