Pump sprayer with someone else behind you rolling
Airless sprayer and someone behind you rolling
If you use an oil base, consider the sprayer of either kind done for.

Pressure wash it first

was going to say this. it will give a good idea on just how much over spray you will get. and it ill take off some of the fuzz from the slats. just pick a day or two you can let it dry complete. I have seen people use a back pack weed killer sprayer. less pressure. or you may use a pressure pot type set up. but do flood it. it needs to soak in good.
