That's what they did with me. When I did the online paperwork, the only place that was even remotely close was Boerne. I called a couple of times and they told me that they were replacing all of the guns. Then Taurus called and wanted to know of a closer FFL to me. The waiting was the worst part. Then my FFL called one day and told me my pistol came in.

My BIL sent one in to be replaced. Took about 4 months I think. He used a local FFL to get it all done, pretty sure he dealt straight with Taurus

I didn't know anything about this recall/settlement. I have a couple Taurus pistols at home. I guess I will see if they are part of this and send them in also.

What is the problem with the pistols that they are recalling?

Didn't know anything about this, guess I need to check mine and see if it qualifies.

                From the class action website:

If you own one or more of the following “Class Pistols” : PT-111 Millennium; PT-132 Millennium; PT-138 Millennium; PT-140 Millennium; PT-145 Millennium; PT-745 Millennium; PT- 609; PT-640; and PT-24/7 pistols (including the “PRO” series of each of these models), you may be entitled to the settlement benefits below. The settlement does not include Taurus G2 model pistols.

The main problem is they were manufactured by taurus.

Anyone, that sent a pistol in recently, have any updates?

I sent mine off 2 months ago, but haven’t heard anything from Taurus. No calls, no email, nothing.

I just read on the class action website, that the forms are no longer available and you can no longer register for the extended warranty via that website. I’m hoping I didn’t wait to long to send in my pistol. Sure would be nice to at least know they got my pistol and the claim is being processed. Kinda starting to wonder if it’s just a lost cause at this point.
