They have moved to the shelf and are catching scamp grouper and other bottom dwellers right now.

You can borrow gear. Don't let that stop you. Lots of pro-tuna guys have extra gear they're willing to share.

That trip is an adventure to say the least.







I won't be going but I'm sitting here next to a Penn 4/0 wide on a cheap Blue Fin rod that someone can borrow if they want. It needs new line but should work for someone in need.
