Jealous here because I know you guys are gonna kill it again this year. Ill have to jump on board one of these trips before my shoulder and back give out.
Does deer corn work to bring on the bite, or is it just a good luck thing?

                          Come on Tuesday!

23 Yellowfin caught last night. 18 at Boomvang and 5 at Nansen.

1 - wahoo and 1 - DO DO caught dragging lures - mono trace - around Boomvang before sun down yesterday.

Then it was Boom for the night action up to around 3AM

Halco had his limit at 0200 (3 yellowfin)

Lost a YFT - fought for 45 minutes that pushed 150 lbs

Timmy decked a YFT that should scale around 125 - 130. Customer on the boat got in over their head, and had to hand the rod off due to fatigue. Timmy grabbed the rod fought to gaff and decked. Should cover 130 lbs.

Bait on sonar at Boomvang Arse DEEP! Top down hundreds of feet and water column on warm water eddy off the GOM loop current.

A Mini 12" sailfish spotted swimming/feeding lights last night. Also a massive octopus and or squid up along light edge feeding last night as well.

Squid up on top in lights at Boom.

Cuda there at Boom but not too nasty.

                          Blackfin bite isn't on fire.

Flying fish schools are moving in and out, bite is going from top to deep.

Consistency is chunk - lot of bait thru the water column so going 10 - 50 ft down is the consistent zone.

Getting word from Mike Halco via SAT Phone from yesterday to this AM for reports.

                          It's on boys........we have tuna!

Boomvang is loaded with fish - bait is there, water temp is there.

Grind top to bottom is the game.

Boys offshore now (1 female aboard - representing) are inside chasing Beeliners and Grouper daytime now. Will sail back to Boomvang tonight for the final claim then steam home to Port A

                            IS IT TUESDAY YET?!?!?!!?

                            IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!

AVERAGE YELLOWFIN TUNA SIZE IS 75LBS this trip.

Right there with a Texas Whitetail doe - worth eating boys.

Tuna will flat out smoke that whitetail on the table!

                                Just saying
