Getting detailed worked on a home and wanted some suggestions on who to use for lending or anyone does lending, will be in DFW area? We will be putting 20% down and credit is excellent. We currently have a broker but her fees appear high.

That's great if all you care about is a cheap interest rate. If you ever have problems then the fun begins. Hope you never have an insurance claim. It's like dealing with the federal government. I like being able to walk in the front door. Be greeted by name. And being able to talk to a decision maker.

First home and this was who our actual lender put us through. Hopefully it never happens, but I guess we will see if it does.
