#29 and my new(used) yote gun

It was cold this morning so I slept in and let Feathermax(Mark) try his hand alone, no luck. Bout lunch time he came and picked me up. I had a spot in mind but couldn't quite remember where it was. He did. Off we go. We set up and didn't even get settled good when this one came bouncing in and was just bout on top of the Foxpro. There was a mesquite between Mark and I that she kept bouncing around. I had a shot, I didn't. He had one, he didn't. I finally found her in the scope and had a clear shot.....#29. First stand of the day for me. Not another one all day. One is better than none.

I picked up a new yote/turkey gun this week as well. Haven't even shot it yet. It needed a really good cleaning. My first gas auto. 24" Winchester SX2 3.5" I think it will work just fine.

This campfire? I got it off Texas Predator Posse classifieds. Think I am at least the 3rd owner.

I think that should be your new theme song.

The camo is some type of tape. Doesn't stick well to the metal. I pulled some of it off. I think I will Krylon camo this one in the near future.

Ah, a link to it was posted in the classifieds. That is how I found it.

What is the bi-pod on the scatter iron? I saw the guy on Predator Quest had one on his today and thought it looked pretty handy!

That is the pic from the forum I bought it off of. Didn't come with it. I don't see any use for a bipod on a shotgun.

From what I understand that is just to keep them out of the dirt and make it easier to grad ahold of if you get one comin in close.

I could see that if you were carrying rifle and shotgun or using hand calls and had to lay it down. I just set up like Im turkey hunting when I am shotgunning coyotes.

That's what I was thinking when I saw it. I agree about the "need" but it would be nice to keep the muzzle out of the dirt. For the longest time, I toted my AR and my 12ga when I went callin'. Got to be too much of a hassle though.
                            Wanna get rid of it?
