My lab went crazy when she saw me on walking in the yard with a shotgun so the 2 on the fence which was really 2 on the fence and about 5 more on the ground flew off. I made her heel after that and I shot 2 walking to the tank and back. 13 more to go. Going to finish my coffee and wake up my son.

Y’all leave me some for when I get off in the morning. Got a text from my dad that him and the guys got a 4 man limit by 8:00 in Coleman.

Slow morning, ended getting 4 out of the 6 birds I shot at. Will be back tomorrow evening, I think it’ll be better in the evening

2 doves just landed on my fence. Debating if I should put pants on and go shoot them or just finish my coffee.

We checked this field at 6:00 last evening and it was covered up with white wings. This morning- nada. I shot 4 mourning dove - and nobody got more than 6-7. Maybe the white wings will be back this afternoon

Got 40 this morning, stopped shooting and put the gun down to take pics. Thousands and thousands of whitewings..a beautiful sight!

How many were in range? 4/4 on opening morning would be impressive. I am usually 4 for 25 on day 1 😄

My birds dogs this morning were on point!

Had lots of birds flying, just couldn't hit many of them. Finished with 11, but should of easily had a limit.
