Anyone ever snag and drag gators?

After putting in for just about 5 years, I finally drew a non resident Georgia gator tag. My friend who lives there, engineered it all and we(all close friends) got a group of tags. 5 of 'em. What I was told, the Ogeechee river is where we are hunting. I leave in a few days, Sept 5th. I'm excited, way different than hunting mammals on land.
Snag, drag and bang stick is what I was told to expect.

Has anyone here done this before? Any tips? Advice?

My brother's Florida gator from a couple of years ago. He's taken several in past years, and I was hoping to go this year, but no word as of yet.

A friend of ours has an airboat and that how this gator was taken. Snag and bangstick....

Wow! That is a heck of a gator. Congrats to your brother. Hope you get the call. That one looks 10' plus. It would be nice to get something that big.

He had some boots made, and I think a purse for his wife, but don't know the cost.
