I have looked at the cheapest corn price in the state. I’m trying to determine if it’s worth driving from Beaumont to Baytown. All feed stores in this area want closer to $10 per 50# bag.

Obviously you get a break when you buy 16 tons. Not the same as buying sacks. Not everybody needs a silo full.

T-Roy, same here across Sabine but they all told me the price will be back down in a couple of weeks when they get their new yearly stock.

My problem is I start a turn around Labor Day week. I have to go fill feeders this Thursday at my Jasper lease. I will be working until October 5 th. Looks like I will drive to bay town one day after work.

Corn is 5.99/ 50lbs bag in DeRidder LA, not to far from Jasper if you need a bunch

If it wasn’t out of the way, I’d go there to get mine but it adds about an hour to the trip to my lease.
