I don't even want to know what kind of hell that was for him and the others. That was such a strange and dark war as I look back on it, and I barely missed getting called up.

Yessir he won’t have to relive the torture anymore and the lasting results of the horrors. Nobody would be normal physically or mentally after being subjected to that kind of awfulness.
