I have 2 SA 200 Lincoln that are down. One will crank and run, but spits and spuders. The other was runnin fine 2 days ago. I flooded the carb and hasn't started since. Can Anybody help me out??
Are they the old ones with a mag, or the newer version?
I have rebuilt a lot of these things, and they like to go through magnetos and the carbs love to give you problems, luckily the carb kits are cheap and easy to install.
check fire...could be coil..or ecm. Fire is quick and easy to check.
Got fire. It's in the carb on both is what I'm thinking.
One will start and just starts cuttin out. Had work done on it 4 or 5 months ago. Cleaned out the carb and installed a fuel filter.
The other one ran fine. Only thing I have to do on this is cut the gas off at the bowl when I turn it off, cuz if I don't, when I go to start up next time, it floods out quick. That's what happened when I tried to start it up the other day. Turned on the gas but had the choke all the way out and before I could hit the start button, it flooded. Hasn't cranked since.
