I'm going to the Bedford Blues Fest next weekend specifically to see Samantha Fish. She looks to be greatness looking for a place to happen.

    Nice work.

Elize Ryd is another. She does a heck of a belly dance also.

I'm just gonna leave this right here for those of us who can appreciate the finer things of the older generation....oh...better enjoyed with a good set of headphones and medicinal lettuce (not that I still partake in that sorta thing).

Well now, guess I will just replace SE with Samantha Fish. That little gal can play some blues. I really like her style.

Saw her in concert at BFD in Dallas. She was great.

Sheena was pop, not rock. Hot though.

Those 3 stand out for me. All of the others from back in the day were awesome.

Odd to see no votes for Shirley Manson. Love her.
I have to agree on the Amy Lee. Isn’t Gwen pop? I would think so. Pat Benatar pretty good.

Rebecca Lovell is about as good of a female rock singer as I've heard. She and her 2 sisters used to play progressive bluegrass music (The Lovell Sisters). One sister dropped out, and the remaining two became Larkin Poe and started playing rock. They can PLAY as well as sing.

Rock genre, my picks would be Gwen Stefani, Ann Wilson, Amy Lee.

There are a lot of very good pop vocalists that could transition to rock and pull it off.
