Ray loves the movie "The Godfather." He says, "I got passed over... I'm smart... I'm smart." Can you tell Ray who said that?

We met with the neuro-psychologist from Tirr 2 weeks ago. He went through Ray's progress starting with his admit in the ER. Glascow Coma Scale (3, which he said they give a pencil a 3) He went over his CT, EEGs which all showed severe brain injury. He went over his first test in June, which showed severe deficiencies in his cognitive abilities.... As he is going over Ray's chart, I could tell he was building up for some great news and was amazed at the man in front of him. Which should really have been more for the praise to the MAN above him. He finally said he wished all his TBI patients recovered like Ray. It is miraculous. Thank you heavenly Father for working on Ray!!! Prayers do work! So many prayers have been said for Ray and us. Thank y'all so much! Ray tested very well and the medical staff is now encouraging Ray to slowly work his way back into his job. Mentally Ray is cleared to work. His physical rehab is far from where he needs to be though. He tires easily and is in constant pain. Emotions are sometimes raw when things seem so out of reach. Ray still needs your prayers so he will be encouraged to do his rehab every day and work through the pain. The other day Ray texted me while I was at the gym, "God give me strength." I texted back to him and said, "He is by you conquering each physical obstacle in front of you." When I would tell friends to pray for patience for me when I thought my children were going to make me crazy.. they would always tell me that is how God was giving me patience...so it seems right that Ray will gain his strength that way too.

As Ray read what I wrote... he said I left out the most important report from the neuro-psych. He said Ray was even "superior" in some areas. He won't let me forget that one.

        Great to hear Boss.

My parents live only a couple miles away from where that happened.
