Haven't seen it, won't see it, but I'm pretty certain anything coming from Hollywood concerning hunting can only be detrimental to hunters. That's been their record for the last fifty years or so, at least since John Wayne, Gary Cooper, Clark Gable, Robert Stack, etc. have been gone. It is no longer politically correct to hunt among the "beautiful people", unless you're hunting Trump, and that seems to be acceptable for the elite.
I read Brolin hung out in a small town & diner for awhile talking to locals to learn the lingo and more about hunting. I can't find it again though. I didn't hate it but it was far from the best thing I ever watched. I am not nearly as picky about what I watch as many folks are though.
