    A buck that has been shown here before along with the ranch story let me get a very special trail cam picture this past week..

      He is 5 1/2 yo. We have a number of bucks that are getting to those magic ages of 4 yo or older and antler growth has been spectacular this year. There are enough outstanding bucks of full breeding age that 21s breeding has lost its absolute need in the ranch herd. With good luck the herd should be self sustaining at this point forward, or at least it appears that way to the owner and me. That was his goal. Only time will tell what truth there is in that.
