I put in a water station and set a camera on it. Watched cows drink it dry in about 2 days. I'm too cheap for the prefabricated panels so I'll either give up on watering or try some barb wire.

There is another place in Lometa called Lometa Gate Co (512) 752-3311 I’ve never checked with them but drove by all the time. See if they can help.

I did 25” panels with barb wire around the top@ 28”.
          60’ diameter round pen.
Chopped old 10’ t-post @ 40” and set them 10-12 ft deep. Overlapped 16’ panels by about 10”
Don’t have cows but the hogs stay out.

Those panels are the only way to go. They are around $43 a panel and are very easy to use and move around. We never use barb wire around the ranch and people that do have never paid a vet bill on a cow that gets into a feeder pen.

                Hix, nice feeder pen!

Every pen we built had to have t posts the cows were brutal on normal fencing,
push pens down and over every chance they got, pens had to be large and Sturdy.
