Duck at my feeder

This guy which I think is a whistler , has been at my feeder on and off no more so on . thought it odd , never seen ducks on the place not even in the large stock ponds .

Never tried it, but many say they are good eating.......
I'm not much for ducks that people swear taste good though.

I had a feeder in my back yard a few years back and would get several at a time but I live on the upper Trinity bay/marsh.
