Question for the iPhone techies

Can a battery be changed in an iPhone. My iPhone will not hold a charge for very long. It just started doing that recently. Any suggestions?

Yes, save some money and go to batteries plus.

It can be replaced. After the recent battery/performance scandal Apple is charging $30 for battery upgrades. Find your nearest Apple store and schedule an appointment online. Be prepared to leave your phone with them for a couple hours.

As said above you can get it changed for $30. I had mine changed out last week. They ran a diagnostic test on it that showed the original battery was still at 83%. They told me that it wasn’t necessarily the battery but the new version of iOS drained older batteries...sure enough my new battery doesn’t last long either. I have an iPhone 6.

my 7 is at 81 and holds a charge all day and I am blue toothing most of the day as well apps running etc
