    Tree saddles

Anyone ever try one of these. I do a lot of hang and hunt public land hunting so I really like the idea but am unsure of how well they actually work. Any incite from those that have used them before would be great. Just starting to look into this idea so I don't even know what all I would need to get started.

Got to saddlehunter.com, been hunting out of one since 07, dont hunt any other way now. Used them for deer, elk, hogs. You have to want to learn to use one and you have to be in decent shape. I'm 55, it keeps me young, lol.

I definitely want to learn as the weight savings alone is a good enough reason for me. Currently working on the in shape part. I will checkout saddlehunter.

The only way I hunt any more also. Like said go to saddlehunter.com I just turned 60 in December. I’m not slowing down!

Ikeman on here also hunts out of a saddle.

If you’re thinking about making the jump, you need to do it really soon so you have time to really practice before you plan to hunt out of it.

The absolute best advice I can give you is to practice climbing, setting up and shooting a lot before you try to hunt. Otherwise you’ll be very frustrated on your first few hunts.

Pretty interesting! Looks like a great idea for public land. I’ve never seen these before.

I don't plan on making the switch this year. I want to do all the necessary research and have to to dial in a setup before taking it into the woods. I have my climber for the season ready to go.
