Pretty sure the academy deal has the ForEverlast timer and not "The Timer". Atleast that's the pricing in Victoria.

Yeah it is a bit odd that you can get the control units for $75 at academy, but $84.50 on their website....

The academy one comes with a different timer (who cares really a timer is a timer to me), but this $129 is the same price that is always listed on their website, or has been for last 6 months....

That’s correct. It’s the ForEverlast timer which is a good timer with same 5yr warranty and basic settings as The Timer.

I have the academy setup I bought a few years ago. Still works great but for $29 more I would buy this setup with “the timer” if I needed any more units.

"The Timer" can feed 6 times a day. It's not the same one that Academy has.
