New hunter

My GF son Max is 23 had wanted to hunt forever but well we can skim over the why. It so I have taught him to shoot . He is in fact a very good shot. Took him out to lease worked with him. This last weekend he got his first boar not a monster 150 ish. I drug it out to 175 yards from blind. He got a shot on s yote. I had to whistle to hold him up I ranged it after 178 on the Christian arms 6.5 worn s LRHSI scope The boy has talent I know not a bow hunter but he has great interest in a bow baby steps

He eS not very interested in it I took him shooting the Sosa’s was amazing then he shot his first hog. First anything and he was hooked !!! The yote was a bunch on hi
Breathing heavy wobbling on the target. I told him to look at me relax it’s was all good no big deal relax the last one started to high tail it out I whistled and told him to shoot. he nailed it yes very proud Thank you all

The turkeys busted him He had no idea how fast they see movement .. He moves a bit too much .. We are working on that , and he put his face up to the window to look around . he is learning fast though

That is awesome! I got a late start myself (started at 24) and would have loved some direction. He is lucky to have you. Good luck on all the hunts this season!
