With all the discussion about 3D printers making guns ,my question is:
How does the printer make the rifleing in the barrels???

It doesn't. It only makes lowers and maybe some other non-moving parts. There is no substitute for steel in the inner workings if you want it to work more than once.
That's why it should be a non-issue......

You have to rotate the printer during the process. Faster pace if you want to shoot heavies.
