These threads suck for trying to keep weight off.

Reckon I'll have to pop it in the microwave and give em a taste.

I do like eating the already cooked version with tomato soup on a cold day.

They still carry them. Look next to the microwave popcorn (ACT II, Orville Redenbaher’s, etc). I picked up 2 packages today. Gonna try em here in a bit. I prefer some good cracklins but skins will do in a pinch.

Some of the best cracklins I’ve ever had are at the La Michoacána Mexican food stores. Back in the meat dept.

Yep, good stuff. Even better when you dash a little ragin blaze or creole on them.

I guess the advantage of these over the ready to eat ones is that they won't go stale. Pork rinds are a great low carb snack.

I ordered a box of 18 from Amazon. The first 3 packs I put in the microwave haven't worked at all. It says to cook them 1-2 minutes. I did that. The bag never puffed up even 1mm. Took them out, and they were nothing but rock hard, slick, shiny flat rock looking pieces of something with seasoning on them. Didn't even get hot in the microwave. I tried another bag and cooked it for 3 minutes. Same thing. Cooked another one for 5 minutes. Same thing. Little shiny rocks, and not even warm after 5 minutes of cooking. Microwave isn't broken. Everything else cooks as usual.

I guess I got a defective batch or something. Crazy.

You had to have gotten a bad batch Shane. I tried a bag tonight and it worked very well. They were good too! [emoji108]

Hopefully Amazon will refund your $ but idk about food products.

Got me hungry for these now. Checked my Wal-Mart last night and they don’t have them.

Trust me when I say this .....DO NOT OVERCOOK THEM!!! If they burn they smell exactly how you would expect burning skin to smell. Guy at work burned a bag and needless to say everyone was disgusted for hours. Otherwise they are delicious.

Why in the world would y'all do this to a fellow TBHr.
                          Good bye popcorn.

I figured out my issue. We have a convection microwave at home. It has no effect on these pork rinds, somehow. I brought a pack to my office and they cooked in a little over a minute in my microwave here.

They were good, but not any better than the ones I buy in bags at the store. Actually, I like the pre-cooked bagged ones better. There's a hint of some kind of plastic-ish taste to the microwave ones. Not bad, but I didn't think they were any better than already cooked ones.

Just tried these and shared with my co-workers, we all loved them! Will be adding a box next to the pop corn in a pantry!
