What is I sync? What does the pad/cover do? Add protection or record damaging contact or both?

They have helmets with sensors that record impact, etc. not positive if the pads are simply protection or also for recording.

Eye sync is the FDA approved device that was developed off Stanford research that Stanford, ISU and Texas were using last year as an assisted tool for diagnosing concussions. It’s an ocular test.

I’m just glad they’re being proactive.

He got the wind knocked out of him, but... he was never diagnosed with a concussion or had any symptoms after or leading into the next week. They ran him through protocol and used the eye sync as I understand it.

He looked out cold on the sideline.

It happens every week at every school. Kids get concussed(a lot of times without even knowing). Same in the NFL. Protocol or not, lies are told. It is what it is. Not saying it's right, wrong, or indifferent just stating the obvious.

True. And there is no way to take it out of football, and still have football.

What wears me out is the old-timers who gripe about how football used to be played, and the guys who used to play that football are the reason it's not played that way anymore.

Gig Em! Just want to finally witness sustained toughness like the days of old. Would love to see 8 or 9 wins but not sure it is in the realm of reality this year. Blessing and good luck to all.
