I have a Spot Hogg Hoggit (5 pin) that I've been shooting since 2002. Just sent it in for new pins (less than $50 with shipping). Best and sturdiest sight I have ever had.
I am any thing but gentle with my equipment, and this sight has outlasted everything else.
Going to make a trip up to CCA today One of the guys there has the fast eddie spot hog single pin double dot I want to look at I can see how that could be used as if the animal moves i have to let down and move sight .
Its down to that one of the Black gold ascent verdict .

Did you pick a sight? I'm in the market for single pin and am searching old threads.
I think that Garmin sight is going to be the sight style of the future. I think there will be other manufacturers get on board with that type as well. I just wish the price would come down a bit....If it just works as advertised....
Went with a spot hog Fast Eddie 3 pin and love it. That way I can shoot 20 30 and 40 while using the 40 as my floater out to as far as I want to shoot. Figured most of my shots are under 40 so 3 pins to keep everything clear. But have the adjustment when I need it. Plus it’s easy to move a sight when there 40+ verse trying to move it when they show up at 20 when set at 40.
I picked up a axcel 3 pin slider. Its their accustat model. I really like it. I have it set up so that first is 20, 30, 40. Then I slide it down one notch and the bottom pin is now 50 with the other two roughly 30 and 40. Next slide down I will have 60 as my bottom pin (haven't had a chance to sight in the 60 yard pin). Once I get everything sighted in, I should be good to out to 100 yards or so.
