    What to do with.....

Used 18volt cordless tools. I just bought a new 7 tool set of 20 Worx cordless tools.
I have a 18volt Dewalt 1/2" drill and reciproctating saw but either the charger is bad or the batteries are bad ......i just dont know. Dont want to go buy a new charger and then its the batteries or buy batteries and it is a bad charger.....especially since i have a new set.

My question is, do folks just chunk em in the trash, recycle them, or whatever?????

Does anybody haveca need for them

You can swing by a battery plus store and they can test battery and charger

I hate that you are in this situation, out of the goodness of my heart, you can ship them to me and I will rid you of the burden. I’ll even pay for shipping!

Hell you can sell them if they still work. I mean $20 is $20 right?

See if you can borrow a charger to test the batts...if they still hold a charge, you can likely pick up another used charger cheap.

I keep my obsolete recipe saw out at camp...pretty handy with a pruning blade to cut small branches back. I also use it to cut smaller pigs down the middle of the spine & toss them on the smoker!!

            No experience with it.

You could throw the 18v in the truck with the adaptor and use them at the ranch or something?

I got an older dewalt 18 volt drill from my wife’s grandmother from when her husband passed a few years ago. Neither battery would charge. Batteries plus can refurbish them I think for a little less, but I went ahead and bought a new battery from them for like $50. It works like new

Next time get 2 batteries for less than that price. They work just as well for me. Hard for me to justify $100 for two when I can get 2 knockoffs for $35
