    Aoudad european mount?

Boys and girls, chill'ren and squirrels... In a month or so, I will have the opportunity to hunt some free range aoudad on a buddy's lease. I am bringing my bow for my primary weapon and my tc pro hunter .300 Win Mag for backup. They've frequently been visiting an area on their property that is within 30 yds from one of their blinds. My buddy's dad shot one last yr that was 25in long but said that was the largest one that gave him a shot. He said there were several that were visually "larger." I've already decided if I take one by bow, a shoulder mount is a given. However, if i shoot one with my .300, i was thinking a european mount would be cool looking (especially if its a smaller one). I've also been told, this could easily be a yearly thing if i was interested, which of course i am, so getting a "trophy" aoudad could happen eventually.

My question: What the heck does a euro mount aoudad skull look like?
    anyone have one?

What length horns is considered a good to great aoudad?

thanks in advance for the info!

I got one in the works right now, when it's done I'll send you a pic if you're still interested but it'll be a while. Shoot them suckers forward, their vitals are tucked in behind the shoulder.

Anything in the 28" range is a trophy ... anything over 30" is awesome!

Here you go! This euro aoudad mount is about 14". I thought it came out nice but the taxidermist lost the nasal bones so I think it would've looked better. Wasn't too crazy about the woodwork, but oh well. It was a female.

Mine is still a WIP but I've got some updated pics as promised. The etched artwork is still in progress. I'll post more as I get updated pics.
