I just got this camera off of a online sell. Half price so I figured we'd try it. It is verizon service not that it matters to my question.
What I'm wondering is have any of Ya'll added a solar panel only to a apypoint cam to wxtend battery life or will I need to buy or build a complete solar 12v battery box to hook to it? Thanks for any help

Well great score my friend, and yes you can hook up a solar panel with these cameras, and just put the lithium batteries in camera then hook up solar and then your set. Hope this helps, good luck.

That's what I was hoping to hear. I really didn't want to have to buy or build a 12 volt pack and try to hide it.

So I have the link evo Verizon, what is the difference in the w model??

I believe the W model is just a partnership with Walmart that they seel so many they were able to get them and "W" them
