Anchoring a TV mount in 50yo Cinder Block

The wife and I are finalizing a purchase of a small beach house in SPI. In order to maximize the little space I would like to hang the TV on the wall. The perimeter walls are all cinder block. Should I worry about the age of the cinder blocks when anchoring to them?

Wouldn't think that would be a problem... but I would probably drill a hole and use a toggle bolt instead of screwing directly into the cinderblock with a masonry screw or using inserts..
