Hopefully the day will come that it remains pain free.

    Best of luck!
Saw this post at the top. I know yours was last year but...

This is what has happened to me and I'll be having the same surgery April 19. Doc is gonna try arthroscopic first and may have to go to open if he can't get to it without detaching my biceps tendon or if there is too much damage to my rotator cuff. Did you hunt with a bow last year?

I’m going to get to the doc soon. My left shoulder is toast. Tore something in there a few months ago and have very limited range of motion, very little strength, and constant pain...especially when sleeping.

I’m trying to put it off as long as possible as there are things happening in life right now that I feel are more important and need to get done (even if with 1.25 arms).

I can tell you one thing, driving t-posts in my current state is not fun. [emoji38]

I have some worsening pain in my left shoulder (non dominant) worried its something that need the ole blade to fix... ugh

I lift 4-5x a week so no telling how I did it.

I used to be able to do 75-80lb dumbbell shoulder presses now a 45lb on my left is painful and it cracks with each rep. My right shoulder is still solid (knock on wood)
Well I should have gone to the doc sooner. I finally started the process of going to my GP and then went to get MRI. After the MRI she saw a tear so I went to the Orthopedic Surgeon and I am screwed.

SLAP Tear AND Rotator Cuff tear. One surgery will fix both. Trying to decide when I am going to get it done. Sucks, but could be worse I guess.
