Anyone have ? Blazer Bay 2220

Its about time for a new rig. Been looking for a few months and this is the one I'm leaning towards.

Any one run one or have one they want to sell?

Where/how do you fish mostly?

My guide buddy has a 2420 GTS with a 300 on it. It will flat out haul, and handles the chop really well. Not as easy as some to get in and out of if wading.

I looked at them hard, even test drove one, but it didn't really fit my style of fishing. I mostly wade and need a fairly shallow boat. But if I was a lake fisherman, or did more deep water bay fishing, I'd buy one in a heart beat.

I have a 2400 with a 250 Yamaha. I love the boat. It rides super dry and does everything from beach front to bay. I take mine to Mansfield every year and have never felt like I needed a skinny boat.

Now I want to inshore fish some but not often.

I looked at GTS but I want more deck and storage.

I have looked at this one hard. How is the loading and unloading by yourself? I think just a bit too big for what I do.

Just sold mine to NrandonH on here. I had it since it was new 2006. Great boat for fishing the bays and short off shore trips. Mine had a 175 hp Suzuki four stroke. Never had any trouble out of the motor. I would like to buy another one if I ever get the itch to own another bay boat.

I've got the 2220 professional with a 250 Suzuki SS and love it. I would recommend trim tabs though. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

I fished last week out of the BB 2220 with 200hp Yamaha and was perfect for inshore fishing at Gulf Shores and short trips in the gulf.
