So, I noticed a week ago that I had water standing in the back corner of my yard going into the pasture, not uncommon as this is its natural route to the pond. So I walked over to our pool which is a vinyl liner pool that is semi buried and noticed the river rock on the low side was wet, after scratching back the rock I noticed the ground was solid mud and assumed one of the pvc lines might have cracked causing the leak ( no dice ) . Well I checked the water main pressure coming off of the pressure tank going into the house and it will hold pressure, which tells me it's good, I also rented a drain camera and scoped the washout off the back porch all the way to the arobic septic with no signs of leaking.
Fast forward to last weekend when my wife and I filled a pump up sprayer with food coloring and went investigating for leaks in the pool , we found one pin hole in the liner floor and patched it, but yet where I dug out beside the pool and pump house it is still filling with water, I guess my guestion is without knowing how long this pin hole has been leaking , I would have figured with this heat that the water would have all surfaced by now and began drying. I even performed an evaporation test on the pool and it looses the same amount daily as a test bucked placed next to it. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
