Places to eat Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles

Going to be passing through that area around dinner time. Any recommendations for a place to eat? Have wife and 3 kids with me. Youngest is almost 4. Dont know exact time just depends on what catches our eye on the drive home to stop and see.

Perrain's in BR, Steamboat Bill's in LC, and there's an awesome po-boy place in Lafayette but I can't remember what it's called. Also, the Ruth's Chris in BR is the best one I've been to!

Darrell’s is a staple in LC for sure. Steamboat would be closer to the interstate if you’re trying to watch your time

Darrell's does have fantastic poboys. Johnsons's is a cool stop also. Our family always stops at Prejeans in Lafayette. We recently tried Blue Dog Cafe and that food was fantastic. Original is one lafayette but they opened a place LKe Chuck also.
