I've been flintknapping, arrow making, and self bow making for 20+ years. I have killed a dozen deer and hogs with stone points, and one hard earned turkey. A well made stone point will kill as good as any steel point.
I've really enjoyed his videos and follow his Facebook page. Seems a very genuine guy. Remarkable how consistently he knaps identical points. Check out his elk hunt video if you get a chance.
I had to laugh when he climbed the tree and sat on a limb. That's the way we hunted for years. Effective and no stand required. Not sure I could do that now.
Pretty cool, but that is not how indians knapped stone points. They didn't take a core down to a single point. They fractured multiple points and other tools from a single core.
