    WiFi boosters???

I have Frontier internet and the wireless hub is upstairs. We have had occasional signal drop when using phones tablets or laptops but we recently started streaming DirectTnow thru a Apple TV and is a bit annoying!! Looking at boosters and Frontier offers a dual set for $144.
    Looking for suggestions.
    What say the Greenscreen???

My son got me an almond - seems to work pretty good https://www.securifi.com/almond

I’m not an IT person, so I have nothing to compare it to

Boosters are only good if your internet coming to your main router is already great. It’s pointless to boost terrible internet. If your internet is great already then run an Ethernet cable from your main router to another router somewhere in the house.

From my experience, Frontier internet is terrible. Check your upload and download speeds from one of the test sites on the internet. My results weren't 1/10 of their advertised speeds.

I have Google Wifi with three wifi points. Its the slickest little system. I'm really impressed by it. We were having a hard time getting signal anytime we weren't really close to the router and especially having a hard time streaming upstairs. With Google Wifi we have great signal all over the house and blazing fast internet in every room. The app is the best part. You can prioritize devices over others (TVs for streaming), you can see which devices are connected, how much data they have used over periods of time, and you can shut down devices from the app (turn off the kids wifi when its time for bed). It was extremely easy to set up as well. I could not be happier with it.

Net gear here too. Easy set up, and works well.
