I use the cheap harbor freight solar battery maintainer on mine when parked for extended periods, and it always has juice when I get back to it. If its fully charged when you drop it the little panel will keep it close. It wont charge fast enough to keep the power going during use though if you don't have generator or power hook ups.

If it's charged when I leave, would that little charger keep enough juice in the battery to keep the fridge on?

I bought this kit as it prevent's the battery from over charging . and it will keep my two batterys topped off 24 /7

I'll second the harbor freight solar panel. It'll keep a battery plenty charged even with overcast skies. The only thing I would add is larger gauge charging wires.
