Glad Im not the only one with food plot issues. Ours suck! Never thought Id gripe about too much water on a fall plot. 10" of rain 24 hours after we planted did zero favors

My plots literally drowned this year. You can have too much moisture for forage oats apparently.

First words were “he was just barely legal”... which means ; not even close. Lol I’ve seen him.... he’s a lot closer to 11 than 13 but that’s small property East Texas...

You have any face towards the camera pics? In that pic, he looks as if he could make it.

If not 13”, maybe a visit from t(e local GW can eduacate the shooter.

Got skunked this morning had 2 shooters and 12 does on my hand corn from 7pm till 5am last night. No daylight pics the past two days which is uncommon

I walked up on him beaded in a field at 40. I know he won’t make it. Not even a question. But.... if he just passed through an area I had no doubt anyone would shoot first. It was a younger teen and turning him in wouldn’t do anything positive for him or bring the deer back. He’s happy and it’s just a deer. I got more and bigger, just one of those WOW YOUNGSTERS that you just have to wonder what he will be.

This buck was so dumb he didn’t have a chance anyway. I guess due to age but he was fearless

I’ve always had lots of activity over the years from 12/6-12/14 we’ll see what next weekend brings... acorns are still falling at this point it may be a year round crop
