Stephen Oglesby, Oglesby Interests. I live in West U and he remodeled my kitchen and living room a few years back. Highly recommended, although you'd need to check with him on availability due to Harvey work still being done. Have a few other recommendations as well. PM me for more info.

Can you wait? With all the Harvey work most of the GCs and their subs that work in West Houston are really busy now. If you can wait your cost and completion time will go down.

Thank you for the info. I can wait until next year, I interviewed some contractors already and they are sitting around 6mo completion time at the moment. I will be looking for a full gut and adding sq. ft.

If you're in 77079 or 77024 I can highly recommend Dan White with Superior Exterior.

We added 700 sqft via a 2-story addition, gutted our entire house to the studs, added a covered patio and outdoor fireplace, redid plumbing, electrical, everything and he was within a couple thousand on budget and right on time.

He's been in the area redoing houses for like 25 years and he keeps his team in line. Will literally check on the project every day and if his guys get out of line he takes care of it very quickly.
