Oh it is! Little easier with 2 people and a truck because one can hand bags to the other on the ladder out of the back of the truck and save some up and down....
Best part. We have two of those dang things!

So, you just WOMAN-handled at least half a dozen 50-pound bags of protein up 10 feet to fill that thing .... then did it again on another one? Impressive, ma'am!

I am going to be the one to say it. Come up with a better way to fill that feeder, that cannot be safe to fill like that (off that ladder). Would hate to see someone get hurt, especially if this place is anywhere remote and if you are there alone.

That being said I hope your efforts pay off.

A double decker feeder?! Briar Friar agrees with TT wholeheartedly. Briar Friar got excited to see the multitude of critters and was hoping NurseJenn slayed one or several. Monday is a good day for killing.

I'd love to hear your suggestions. FYI, we used the hopper and blower from the place we get our feed from last time however it's too heavy when loaded with protein to tow with my Jeep. Wasnt expecting them to be empty or I'd have brought the truck instead. However even with the hopper and blower, ya gotta climb the ladder and that hose weighs 50+ pounds itself so what's the difference other than not going up and down?

I honestly have no idea but it wasnt a rattlesnake, cotton mouth or copperhead so he "got away."

One of my friends has some tall feeders like that. He has a metal roof on the top of his Ranger he stands on when he fills his feeders. Getting a new feeder might be cheaper than adding a metal roof to your Jeep.

Obviously it's your choice. I do stupid crap daily and give my kids plenty of lectures so I don't need to lecture you. I saw the pic of that ladder and I was worried, that's all. Good luck.
