I hung this new rain gauge 6 weeks ago. The red indicator has not floated once. I hope we are not locked in this pattern until the annual “run off the doves” storm!

Officially 4.95 inches in Kingwood. A good soaking. My grass is going to explode in the next few days

We finished with 6.5" in the last 24 hours. If I did not mow the lawn on Monday in preparation for this I could probably get out there and do it now without hardly making any mud tracks. And this is after getting about 16-18" two weeks ago.

Hopefully it keeps moving west and we get some as predicted out near Junction too.
