It's not a staph infection. A spider bite is a reasonable assumption based on your pictures

Looks like a Brown Recluse bite. It will keep getting worse on the inside if you don't get treatment.

I’d have gone to at least urgent care just from looking at the second picture.

Can you feel any heat to the touch? If so I’d say staph.

Looks like a recluse bite. If so, after 4 days it will most likely be a pretty big hole after the infected area is cut out.

I’m not an MD of course but my wife is an RN so I’m very familiar with how dangerous this stuff can be. That stuff can make you really sick and can be very tough to get rid of even with strong antibiotics. Your smart for seeking medical attention. Im pretty sure they can test it for MRSA before prescribing antibiotics. Good luck
                Bingo.
Was in the hospital for a week years ago for it. Some cylndamycin will fix you right up. Don’t pay for vancomycin in a pill form , much more effective in an iv vs pill.

Did you see the spider that made the bite? If not, that looks just like the mrsa staph infection I had. Do not wait.

i vote staph infection.. most spider "bites" are a thought from the old days

100% of us are walking around with staph on our skin, just takes a mode of entry and immunocompromised person to rear its head.. dr appt for sure

Looks like MRSA to me as well. Had it a few years back, left a hole in my leg you could drop a stack of nickels in. Get to the Doc regardless!!

Looks like a bite I got from a brown recluse, many years ago. Rascal was hiding in my work glove.

I had several staph infections and they never had a black head like that. My bet is spider bite

Okay... I'm in for the results... maybe it is a staph infection from a spider bite???
