Headed to Tybee Island

I've hunted Cumberland Island and Ossabaw Island but I've never been to any of the other barrier Islands in GA. From what I've seen that is some pretty country down there.


What's the attraction to Tybee all the way from Texas?

We were there a few weeks ago. Drove out a couple evenings. It’s a really nice beach. We didn’t eat down there but there’s a lot of places to eat.
Are you only going to stay at tybee or see the sites in town also?

I don't know where Springtown, TX is but if you have been to Galveston it is much like that. I actually prefer going to the city and hanging out in Savannah. it is a cool city to walk and see.

I have an aunt and uncle in Statesboro. They go to Tybee some. They say it's nice. I've never been though.

The Deck, AJ’s, and Tybee Island Social Club are fun. For a day out on the water, tell him to call Bull River Marina. We had them take us to shark tooth island a couple of weeks ago and found these fossilized shark teeth...there are megalodon teeth out there.

If they’re picking up groceries on the way, tell them to stop at Publix in Wilmington Island instead of relying on the grocery store at Tybee 🤢
