Just received the factory trailer wiring harness for my wifes 2015 dodge journey. I thought it was plug and play but after I got it all hooked up an plugged my tester into the trailer plug it was not working. Checked fuses and did some research. Apparently Dodge has it set up where you have to get the ECU reflashed to recognize the wiring harness. Anyone ever ran into this? Is there a DIY way of doing it? Trying to save a little money after paying 160 for the factory wiring harness.
