Proud dad moment today

Couple months back my dad bought a new to him bass boat and he's been wearing out the water (oh to be retired). Being I was on call this weekend junior elected to go to granny and grandpaws house since I was tied to the phone

Yesterday they hit Somerville and caught a few. Today they switched gears and went after some ditch pickles. It also Appears my dad hired out another captain and let my boy run the boat all day. Junior is convinced he's ready to take on Ike at the next tourney.

Pretty proud he's making these memories with my dad. And that he's finding fish on his own.

My favorite outdoor memories are from fishing and hunting with my granddad. Sure wish he was still around today. Enjoy this time while you can young man.
