It dang sure wasn't me that put it there. And when he said grab the rake to pull him out. I grabbed the rake and handed it to him. I sure as hell wasnt doing it.

That's a good sized one. Been several years since I've killed any that big. Seem to have had a run of one to four footers that few years.

That's downright unsettling. It's three times the thickness of the rake handle and makes the quarter look like a dime. Could easily strike a grown man hip-high, I would bet. Anyone wear hip-boot-snake-boots?

Oh, and I guess the buddy didn't hear about the guy bitten recently by a dead, severed head. Glad nothing happened here, and it is good to have the size references and actual measurement photos.
