ok, replaced my truck ac compressor about a year ago. Well it recently stopped blowing cold. I recharged it and it lasted about a week and a half. Took it to a local shop and they put the dye in it and said to bring back once it started to be not as cool. Well it didn't even last a week and back to not cool again, so its god a leak somewhere. Took it to the shop this morning and they are saying that the compressor is bad. My question is, if the compressor is bad, will it still cool like it has been doing, or should i get a second opinion. Can it leak at the compressor and still work in the meantime, or what. What do yall say?
