I bought 3 for $40 apiece in 2010 2 are still working flawlessly. I bought 3 more in 2013 for $50 apiece they are all still working and the 1 of the 3 I bought last year for $30 each that I put out was still taking pictures last week when I pulled it and I haven’t touched it since January 5th. I’m sure you guys that hate them have your reasons but I’ve biught 9 of them in 8 years and 8 of them still work like they should. And for the price I’ll take the chance that I get a bad one occcasionally.

We have 4 and I was hesitant to get them but my friend found them on clearance at Walmart for 25 bucks each. They all still work great and take decent photo's. At first we were having some issues but since we have started dedicating each card to each camera and only viewing them on a laptop we have not had any issues.

You can get the browning refurbs on ebay that have a 1 yr warranty. 45$ each. Ive had good luck with the 8mp 30$ tascos at walmart. Take some dang good pics.

I am glad you have had good luck with them. I have never had anything they make last more than a year for me. I have tried their camera, feeder timers, even a card reader. I finally gave up on them. I hope this doesn't jinx your good fortune. I am sure some have had success with them or else they would be out of business, especially after his legal issues, but they have never lasted for me.

Most low or high dollar cameras last if kept dry, moisture is a killer. Wind blown rain will penetrate. Place a small dessicant pack, from shoe box, inside cam battery compartment. Cover the dang thing. Many seasons of use.

I have bought other cameras around 100 before and they didn’t last too long so I figured I would give the really cheap one a chance.

Have been running the tasco since the end of last season. Takes good pix.

Tasso gets my vote. Cheap and takes decent pictures.
