Amen, brother! The newest Eotech 500 series (I forget the exact number - 556 maybe?) has BDC retucle that's designed for the AR that's good out to 600 yards! How much further would you want to shoot with a .223?

The Bushnell Holosight (made by EoTech) touts a .25 MOA. I think that is a good thing as well as unlimited, both eyes open, field of view.

I have A Bushnell on mine. Bought some carry handle mounting rings from Gibsons. And it seems to fit,at a reasonable investment.

          Sailor,
How do you like it? Have you hunted at night for hogs, etc. with the Holosight?
I assume Gibsons is an online site for supplies.....do you have a link or should I just Google it to check on the rings you mentioned?
          Thanks,
          Paz

This one seems like it would be good for close-in work as well as work at distances.
            Anybody have experiance with it?

I second the Burris Fast Fire site. Put one on my Benelli for yotes. Love that little sight.

                ACOG rules.

Especially if you can get the chevron reticle.

x2 It is what I have on my AR. Never heard anything good about NC Star.

It is a great scope but at up to $1,500, it is a bit out of a lot of people's price range.

Paz-Gibsons discount store, here in Weatherford. I bought the mount and the rings for the scope for about $30 bucks. I really don't understand how some guys spend hundreds on their AR scope and mounts. The scope is a Bushnell "Sportsview" 3x9 I think it's a great combo. And it'll reach out and touch'em. Just my 02
